Fixion Tablet is an antibiotic that contains the active component cefixime. It's used to treat urinary tract infections, lungs, throat infections, airway infections, tonsils infections, middle ear infections, and cervical/urethral infections. Typhoid fever is also treated with it. It acts by interfering with the creation of bacteria's cell walls, resulting in the death of the infection-causing bacterium. You must finish the antibiotic course; stopping the treatment on your own leads to antibiotic resistance and infection recurrence, making this medicine ineffective. Typhoid (enteric) fever and gonorrhea are also treated with it.
